Me Before You

Louisa Clark is the most relatable character a novel could come up with. She has a family that loves her but drives her crazy, a boyfriend that at times makes her feel non-existent, and no idea what she is doing with her life. When she loses her job, she starts looking around, only to find a position as a caregiver. A handsome, wealthy young man, Will Trainer, has had a devastating accident that leaves him as a quadriplegic. While their relationship starts out rocky, the quips and wit between them begins to grow into something more. Her attempts at showing him the joy in life are not dismissed and the pair of them bond in a way that was never expected. But, love can never be that easy, as we all know too well.

This book pulls you in from the moment you start, and you cannot put it down until you have devoured every last drop — even then, you long for more. Jojo Moyes will have you laughing, have your brows furrowing, and have you in tears as you read the wonderful tale she has spun between two unique characters that you cannot help but adore. Sit next to a box of Kleenex; you’ll thank me later. A wonderful, heartfelt read.
